In House Photographer Tim Ward

Mr. Ward was born in a small fishing village in Scotland, and as he came to the USA when he was but 2 years old, he sadly doesn't have the cool accent of his forefathers.

Tim grew up all over the country, mainly in the south, but finally settled in the Pacific Northwest where he finished high school and ultimately joined the United Sates Marine Corps. After 4 years of anti-terrorism security and being an infantryman during Operations Desert Shield/Storm, he received the coveted Combat Rifleman's Badge-awarded to infantrymen serving in combat related activities and actively engaging enemy forces while under direct fire, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and a Combat Action Ribbon. Eventually leaving the Corps with an honorable discharge before rejoining the civilian world.

Mr. Ward's love affair with photography began in 1986 while in the "Vocational Photography" program at South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, WA.

He learned his craft on 35mm B&W film and moved into medium and large format film. Since the digital age he's retired his Nikon F100 & Bronica MF cameras for the Canon 5D MK III's and has never looked back.

He now calls Oregon his home, and when not photographing Portland Fashion Week, weddings, maternity sessions or portraits, he works in an IT position supporting a team of Mac users.
